Interestingly, the Rising of the Shield Hero has an impressive rating of 8/10 on IMDB. Thanks to this, the show enjoyed a sudden leap in viewership. However, the official date for Season 2 is yet to be announced. But considering the enormous popularity and pandemic situation, we can expect it before 2021.
Crunchyroll recently dropped a hint on Twitter about the new season of Season 2. You can see the tweet here.
Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Plot
The Plot of Shield Hero Season 2 is not unveiled yet either. It is expected that the protagonist, Naofumi Iwatani, along with Raphtalia (the demi-human girl), and the bird-monster Filo will return in their roles but will be accompanied by a new companion.
