About Search Season 2
Being termed as the most balanced thriller show ever by the Korean Drama Industry, Search is a complete entertainer. This recently concluded show aired on OCN every weekend – Saturday and Sunday. It has a fantastic combination of thriller, romance and mysteries that slowly unravel to produce a gem that the show has turned out to be. The successful run has viewers waiting for a release date to Search Season 2 but nothing has been confirmed yet. Lets keep our fingers crossed but waiting for the producers will sure help!

While fans worldwide have been stalking the makers to produce a Season 2, directors Lim Dae-woong and Myung Hyun-woo haven’t confirmed anything yet. If rumors are to be believed, end of 2021 may bring some good news for the fans.
The Storyline
Remember the successful and focused conventional officer of the forces who finally gets his leave approved but doesn’t get to go. A classic case of that scenario is Search.
Yong Dong Jin, a conscript sergeant, is finally going to resume his civilian world connection after his discharge. Little does he know about the plans of his destiny though. Just two weeks short, a mysterious killing of a man in the demilitarized zone of the Korean countries has caused a havoc. Jin can’t be discharged. As a leading sniffer dog handler, it falls on his shoulders to investigate the killing and find out the cause. Soon the team constituted to uncover the mystery realize something. What they are planning to hunt down is incorporeal. It isn’t human; it is something different.
This is where the 10-episode series starts and what follows is a mix of fear and exasperation to keep you glued to your chairs. Join Jin, in his ‘Search’, as he undertakes this dangerous yet rewarding journey to find out the real culprit.

The Cast
Jang Dong-yoon plays the protagonist Yong Dong-jin; the officers who has to put his easy world plans on hold for now. Next, Krystal Jung plays Son Ye-rim, a scholar and an officer who meets her ex unintentionally. The remaining cat involves Moon Jeong-hee as Kim Da-jeong; a special officer incharge of the DMZ. Yoon Park plays Song Min-gyu and Lee Hyun-wook plays Lee Joon-sung; both are elite officers in the forces.
