About Spinning Out Season 2
Spinning Out is an American drama series created by Samantha Stratton. Its first and probably last season aired on Netflix on 1 January 2020 with 10 episodes in the set. The show has in fact been canceled by Netflix but it is a must-watch for all those people who are suckers for a good Sports Drama.
It details out the struggles faced by an aspiring Olympic figure skater as she tries to bridge the gap between her personal life and her career. Her fate tests her rigorously by putting her at her wit’s end after having to face a serious injury while dealing with her mental health simultaneously. Spinning Out Season 2 to continue from here!

The Official Announcement
It was announced in February, a month after the release of the first season, that the show is in fact canceled by the online streaming platform. However, a lot of the fans distressed by this fallout took to their social media accounts to express their heartbreak over the cancellation.
They’ve even been signing petitions for Netflix to reconsider their decision. As of now, nothing can be said about that. For now, the show stands canceled. We’ll have to wait longer to see whether the tables will turn in our favor or not. Spinning Out Season 2 coming soon?
Is The Show Cancelled by the Creator or Returning?
Netflix hasn’t come out with any concrete reasons to support this argument. The platform has been rather silent on the topic. Despite scoring a rating as high as 7.7 on IMDb and having a strong foundation, the series has been packed up to go.

The reason for the same seems to be the low viewership of the show. Quite a lot was invested in its production, but the results haven’t seemed to catch up to that level. This could be a possible reason for scratching off the future of this series.
The Storyline of Spinning Out Season 2
Athletes have to constantly juggle between their personal lives and training. Spinning Out explores the life of a figure skating Olympic Kat Baker, who is giving it her best to strike a balance between the two. She does so while dealing with her mental health that is obviously being affected by it all and is quite literally “spinning out” of control.
