About Stranger Season 3
The stranger is a South Korean crime thriller television series that revolves around Hwang Si-Muk. He is a prosecutor who had surgery when he was a child which caused him to lack emotions and affected his social skills. The series focuses on his investigations to solve murder crimes as he partners with police Lieutenant Han Yeo-jin to unravel the mystery behind the murder. Each season of the series tells a self-contained story thus providing enough room for new plots.
The stranger has a score of 8.6/10 on IMDB and has been trending on social media.
Recap of Season 2
Season 2 focused on the power struggle between police and prosecution. In this season, Si-Mok partners with Yeo-Jin to find the truth of power games and corruption and to solve a series of crimes. In the season finale, it is found that Woo Tae Ha has been the main antagonist all along.
The finale of the second season scored a nationwide 9.4 percent rating.
Renewal Status
Stranger season 2 has done extraordinarily well and fans are desperately waiting for an announcement regarding the new season.
Netflix or tvN have not announced the renewal of the third season yet. But we can expect strangers to return in the future. South Korea’s tvN will decide on renewal, and the network is already discussing a possible season 3.

Stranger Season 3: Release Date
Season 3 potential release date has not been decided as the renewal status of the show is still unknown. There was an almost three-year gap between season 1 and season 2. Considering season 2 released in 2020, we can expect the third season to come out in late 2022 or the beginning of 2023.
The Expected Plot
Stranger Season 3 can be expected to have the same storyline of Si- Mok teaming with Yeo- Jin to solve crimes. it can also introduce an entirely different plot. We just have to wait for the official announcements to know more.
The Cast
The main cast of Stranger includes Cho- Seung as Hwang Si-Mok and Bae Dona as Han Yeo Jin. Lee Joon-hyuk stars as Seo Dong-Jae, Yoon Se-ah eas Lee Yeon-Jae and Jeon Hye-jin as Choi Bit In season 3, the main cast members can be expected to return.
