Tanya the Evil(Youji Senki) is a Japanese anime series based on the light novels by Carlo Zen. The first season was released on January 6, 2017. It consisted of 12 episodes and fans were hooked to the storyline. The plot revolves around a 9-year-old who is supposed to be the villain but ultimately grows as the Hero. After an exciting first season, fans are impatient about Tanya the Evil Season 2. Can we expect a Season 2 of this thriller saga? Read on to find out more.
Release Date of Tanya the Evil Season 2
The light novels and manga series of Tanya the Evil is currently available. However, the show is not based on all the source material. Therefore, only one season has been featured. Luckily according to Crunchyroll, Season 2 will be extended by 14 episodes, making a total of 26 episodes. Additionally, fans are amazing and more impatient than ever.
The production team has not come up with a release date. However, according to source materials, we can expect it to be 2021 or 2022 latest.

The Storyline
The story revolves around a man who disregards the idea of God, rebirth, and immortality. There is another character Being X who wants to punish him for questioning. Subsequently, the man meets his death. It leads to his rebirth in the body of a girl( vessel)- Tanya. Following which Tanya learns she has to upgrade in the military ranks to escape hell. She is determined and focuses on her training. She becomes the Devil. As the show progresses, we fall for the Devil.
Season 1 progresses with the above plot. There is enough fight sequence to hold your attention. For Season 2, we can expect a fight sequence between Tanya and Mary Sioux. Both have differing beliefs about God.
