The Crown is a historical drama web television based on Elizabeth’s life from her very young age to her reign in the 21st century. The first season was released on Netflix on November 4, 2016, the second season was released on December 8, 2017, and the third season was released on November 17, 2019.
The series is written by Peter Morgan, produced by Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television for Netflix. The first three covered the period from Queen Elizabeth’s marriage to the period of Harold Macmillan as prime minister. The series had three seasons with 10 episodes of each.

The Crown season 4
The first three seasons were a really big hit as of ratings, as per ratings of rotten tomatoes, the first season had a rating of 89%, second season 90%, and the third season had a rating of 90%. And it was previously decided that there will be six seasons to describe the whole journey of The Crown.
The fourth season began shooting in August 2019 and ended with it by March 2020. Emma Corrin is final for the role of Lady Diana Spencer in the fourth season. The fourth season will be about Margaret Thatcher’s premiership, also about Lady Diana Spencer, Prince William, and Prince Harry.
Season four release
There is no release date yet announced by Netflix for the airing of season four, but we can expect by the end of the year as its shooting is wrapped by mid of March and its final days were shot in between Coronavirus pandemic period.
