The King’s Avatar originally known as Quanzi Gaoshou is a Chinese Anime series. It has been adapted from the novel series by Hu Dielan and is based on the world of esports. Season 1 was released in 2017 and took the Chinese fans by storm. After a long waiting, Season 2 has been released on September 25, 2020. So let’s begin our discussion on The King’s Avatar Season 2!
Release Date of The King’s Avatar Season 2
The King’s Avatar Season 2 of the anime series was aired on September 25, 2020, in mainland China. It consists of a total of 12 episodes. The streaming platform outside of China has not yet been decided. Netflix had released a live-action drama series of the anime last year. So let’s keep our fingers crossed that hopefully, Netflix releases Season 2 of the series.

In Season 1 we were introduced to – Ye Xiu, the protagonist was the best player of the online multiplayer role-playing game- Glory. He was a captain of the team- Excellent Era. However, Ye had to leave the gaming world because he didn’t want to be a part of the sponsorship provided to his team. He becomes the Manager at a café- Happy Internet Café. He rejoins Glory after a gap of ten years and it follows his struggles.
Season 2 will probably deal with Ye’s journey to secure back his top rank. Rivalries with previous teammates and new players will also be showcased.
