The Seven Deadly Sins may have ended its manga this year, but the anime still has more content to cover before closing shop. The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement, which Netflix listed as season 5 (television special The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War added as season 2), will serve as the final chapter of the anime series and bring the storyline to a close. The latest season begins streaming in Japan from January 6 and will land on the streaming platform within a few months of its conclusion. Will The Seven Deadly Sins Dragon’s Judgement Season 4 coming soon?
Seven Deadly Sins is massively popular across the world. Recent data revealed that it was the most-watched Netflix original anime series in 127 countries.
Fans expect many big revelations to come out of this explosive conclusion to this action-packed story arc. Let’s round up all of the important details surrounding the release of The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement.
The Seven Deadly Sins Dragon’s Judgement Season 4: Overview
Since the first season of the anime, the story has revolved around Meliodas trying to break the reincarnation cycle that he and Elizabeth have been trapped in for 3,000 years.
In the Season 3 finale of The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods, many fans were left reeling from the events that unfolded. The final episode showed Estarossa confessing his love for Elizabeth after he lost control from consuming three of the Ten Commandments. It also saw Meliodas transform into his demon form as he attempts to break the curse placed on his lover Elizabeth. This cliffhanger will no doubt set the stage for the final season of The Seven Deadly Sins.
The Expected Storyline
Netflix did not reveal much in the first teaser trailer. The only thing that viewers could discern was that Meliodas and Elizabeth’s 3,000-year reincarnation curse may finally be coming to an end. Fans also noted a grief-stricken Meliodas holding a blood-soaked Elizabeth. Therefore, leading to much speculation about the circumstances that lead to this event. This may mean Season 4’s plot could involve mistrust and uncertainty. Also, the characters might begin to wonder who amongst them is truly a friend and who is an enemy.
We also expect that the Holy War arc will continue in Season 4. Also, Meliodas will face off against the demon clans’ Ten Commandments.
