The controversial American teen drama, 13 Reasons Why has been renewed for a fourth season. The first season of this show, which was released on March 31, 2017, was based on the novel of the same name. Though considered dark and triggering, this show became popular, especially amongst the youth. As a result, Netflix decided to continue it even after the first season.
It even launched a support website to help people with mental health issues, the trauma of sexual assault and bullying.

The plot of this show revolves around Clay Jensen and his classmates. One of his classmates, Hannah, whom he was very fond of, committed suicide. A few days after her death, a box containing 13 tapes is found on his porch. These tapes were recorded by Hannah, right before her death. Thirteen tapes symbolize 13 reasons, which drove her to suicide. Clay finds out that he isn’t the only one to hear those tapes. Filled with rage, Clay seeks out for revenge and justice for Hannah.
The show covers topics like- teenage drinking, use of drugs, abuse, sexual assault, mental health, suicide, bullying, teenage relationships, etc.
13 Reasons Why Season 4 Plot
Thirteen reasons why season 3 ended on a cliff-hanger and left us all with unanswered questions. [spoiler] Monty was arrested for sexually assaulting Tyler and then later comes a news regarding his death. His body was not shown in the final scenes and we all know, a death is not confirmed, unless and until we get to see a body. The next season will probably focus more upon Monty, his death, and the fact that he was “blamed” for Bryce’s death.
We all know who pushed Bryce into the river. Will Alex Standall be punished for murdering Bryce or will he walk away free? Only season 4 can answer this question.
We can expect to see the actual story behind the bag of guns retrieved from the river.
Will Bryce be back in the fourth season? Well, maybe in flashback scenes.

The makers of the show have yet no confirmed release date, but a fourth and final season is confirmed. Fans are expecting it to release before the end of 2020, but as mentioned, nothing is confirmed.
