Tokyo Ghoul Season 3: Release Date, Will the Anime air in 2021?

Tokyo Ghoul is an anime series, created by Sui Ishida and is based on the manga of the same name. The manga was a big hit all over the world. Due to its high popularity, the manga was adapted into shows and films. Although the anime series is not as a hit as Naruto and Dragon Ball Franchise, the show remains an integral part of Japanese culture and identity. The story of the anime stays true to the story created by Sui Ishida. We will take a look into  Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 and its details.

Tokyo Ghoul Season 3 Release Date

The first season of Tokyo Ghoul was aired from July 4, 2014, to September 19, 2014. The second season got aired from January 9, 2015, to March 27, 2015. Tokyo Ghoul season 3 also called Tokyo Ghoul Re was released on April 3, 2018, and the show ended on June 19, 2018. The third season was divided into two parts. The second part got aired from October 9, 2018, to December 25, 2018.

The Storyline

The first season says the story of Ken Kaneki, a college student who suddenly becomes a half-ghoul after he underwent an experience nearly to death. He is trying to adjust to the tremendous changes in his lifestyle. The second season is a direct sequel to the first. In the second season, we see Ken’s journey as a member of the Aogiri Tree.

Tokyo Ghoul Season 3: Release Date, Will the Anime air in 2021?

The Aogiri Tree battles against CCG. CCG tries to eliminate the ghouls from society. In season 3, the story is set after two years, where Ken makes his new identity as Haise Sasaki, a member of CCG. Haise is recognized as Ken by his fellow mates and they are eager to unveil the truth to the public.
