Vikings Season 6 Part 2 Release Date Confirmed for 2020, Story Updates!

Vikings Season 6 has already aired its first part. The 6th season of the historical drama premiered on 9 December 2019. 10 episodes of the scheduled 20 have already aired. There is some ambiguity when it comes to Vikings Season 6 Part 2. We are here to clear some of that up. Here’s everything we know that you need to know.

Vikings Season 6 Part 2 Storyline

The story follows the life of one of the greatest Viking Chieftains; Ragnar Lothbrok. In a broad sense, the story follows his life from the time when he is a farmer.

He then gains fame for his raids in England. As a result, he eventually becomes a Scandinavian king. The later seasons follow the exploits and fortunes of his sons.

Vikings Season 6 Part 2 Release Date Confirmed for 2020, Story Updates & More

After the 5th season, the King of Kattegat is Bjorn. At the same time, Ivar is traveling around the world. He is looking for his place in the world. The first part of the sixth season did leave quite a few questions in the minds of the fans. That is to be expected because they want the audiences to come back for more. One of these questions may have been answered by the clip from Comic-Con which can be found later in the article.  Vikings Season 6 Part 2  will continue the story from here I guess.

Vikings Season 6 Part 2 Release Date

The first part of the sixth season has already aired as mentioned earlier. The final season in the series is set to air in Vikings Season 6 Part 2. The concluding ten episodes will be released by the end of 2020 on Amazon Prime Video and the History Channel. However, there isn’t an exact date at the moment. As things start to ramp back up after the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, we expect more specific news on this soon.

Where to Watch?

The best place to watch Vikings is on Amazon Prime Video. The format it will follow will be the same as the first part of the sixth season. Initially, episodes 11 and 12 will be available and then the rest will roll out every week. For those wanting to watch it on the History Channel, it will likely be available a year after it’s available online. This is because Amazon has the exclusive rights to stream Vikings Season 6 Part 2 first.
