The show is centered around Elaina, an aspiring witch who after training for one year, becomes an official witch under the tutelage of Fran. After completing her training, she leaves her house to travel the world. In Episode 4, Elaina meets Princess Mirarose and decides to help her fight a monster named Javier, Mirarose kills him easily and then reveals that the monster was actually her father who killed her loved, so she decided to turn him into a monster.
After Elaina leaves Mirarose, it is then showed that she is slowly spiraling into madness.

After the development of the last season, we can say that Mirarose would likely be the main antagonist of the show. Her madness would take over her and it would be interesting to see if Elaina manages to tame her or she has to do the unthinkable and kill her.
