WataMote is short for “Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dō Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!”, which can be translated to “No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys’ Fault I’m Not Popular!” in Japanese. WataMote Season 2 Release Date
The first season of the series ran from 8 July to 23 September in 2013. After that, an OVA special was released in 2014 to support the sales of the 7th volume of the manga. A spin-off was also produced with the title “TomoMote” or “How I Look at It, It’s You Guys’ Fault My Friend’s Not Popular”. However, the creators have been pretty quiet about the WataMote series, which makes us wonder if it has been brought to its end with the first season. Nothing can be assumed as of now.
