The day from CAB ( Citizenship Amendment Bill) and NRC ( National Register of Citizens ) has become an act everyone is under doubts and confusion regarding the law.
Many politicians have also taken advantage of this dilemma among the public and started misleading the youth. So let’s make it clear that does this act exactly means.
“CAA and NRC are not going to deny citizenship to certain existing Indians.”
And this perception and confusion have begun massive violent protests among the country. Let’s first talk about CAB and NRC.
What is the Citizenship Amendment Act & National Register of Citizens?
The Citizenship Amendment Act is based on religion, with a plunge on the elimination of Muslims from those immigrants from India’s three Muslim-majority neighbors — Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan seeking India’s citizens.
However, the National Register of Citizens is not based on any religion. It intends to detect any illegal immigrants, regardless of their caste, creed, or religion, and detain and eventually deport them.

Now everyone can read this and think where it is talking about Indian Muslims.
Now the question is that will this act hamper Indian Muslims in any way. Let’s find the exact and real answer to this.
The public is confused about the perception that this bill might take away the citizenship of Indian Muslims. The truth is, NO, it can’t.
The amendment act is only for those non-Muslims who have been assaulted in the Muslim majority countries based on religion. And the Indian Muslims are a part of India, and no one can do any injustice to them due to this bill.
