Wilmer Valderrama took his new year to a whole different level when he proposed to his model girlfriend, Amanda Pacheco.
Wilmer took to Instagram to share a picture of himself kneeling down, sharing his engagement news. Instagram followers showered them with loads of good wishes. On January 2, the couple shared the big news on Instagram with matching captions that read, “It’s just us now” 01-01-2020.”
Amanda wore a beautiful floral dress as the couple went to the picturesque beach. Amanda posted a second picture of the ring, a giant pear-shaped rock on a diamond band. The proposal location was extra special to Amanda as she is a divemaster herself. Her Instagram bio reads, “I belong deep in the sea or high in the trees where things are wild & free.”
The couple was linked back in April 2019 when they were spotted together. Wilmer previously dated singer Demi Lovato and actor Mandy Moore. He is still on excellent terms with both of them and stood by demi during her drug problems in 2018. Demi Lovato said post-split, “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends. We will always be supportive of one another.”
A source recently also said that “Demi knows about [Amanda] and is being equally as supportive as Wilmer has been of her recent relationships.”
All’s well that ends well! We are glad things worked out for the two of them. It was an incredible start to the new year for the couple, and we wish them a fantastic future ahead.
