Wise Man’s Grandchild or Kenja no Mago Season 1 aired in 2019 and it adapted the first three light novels that go by the same name written by Tsuyoshi Yoshioka and illustrated by Seiji Kikuchi. It is one of the most famous animes pertaining to the “Isekai” category. This genre of mangas or animes revolves around a person from Earth being transported to a parallel universe after their death, upon reincarnation or otherwise. We can’t help but wonder if Wise Man’s Grandchild Season 2 is on the cards or not.
Other than having an anime adaptation, the series acquired a manga adaptation in 2015 as well. The first season of the anime series finished on 26 June 2019. It hasn’t been long since then but the fans have been desperately looking forward to Season 2.

There has been no official announcement regarding a second season till now. With nine books still left after the adaptation of the first three books, we have enough source material for a potential Season 2. Let’s wait and see what the future holds for this series.
Wise Man’s Grandchild Season 2 Release Date
Without any official announcement, it’s hard to estimate a date for the release of Season 2.
The DVDs and Blu-rays for the first season are out. The fate of Season 2 depends on their sale and reception. However, with the growing popularity of this anime and its manga adaptation, it might as well just pull off a second season. However, it might be a long time before we hear anything about Season 2.

Wise Man’s Grandchild season 2 Storyline
After his death, a young salary-man is reborn in a different magical world where he is raised as Merlin Wolford’s grandson. Christened Shin Wolford in this new world, he learns magic from his grandfather and grandmother Melida Bowen.
During the celebration of Shin’s 15th birthday, Merlin realizes that the power wielded by Shin is otherworldly and unlike any powers seen before. Thereafter, he’s sent to a Magic Academy to learn ways to control his power. As Shin makes way for himself at this new place, a new threat known as “Demonoids” awaits him.
