You Season 3: Release Date. Will Penn Badgley continue as Joe Goldberg this Season?

You are an American Psychological Thriller TV Series, which is based on the books YOU and Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes. The show is developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble and produced by Warner Horizon Television. The first season premiered on September 9 2018 and the second on December 26, 2019. Today, we are going to talk about You Season 3.

You Season 3 Storyline



Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager, falls head over heels over Guinevere Beck, an aspiring writer. He continuously stalks her presence on social media. To remove obstacles, he kills Benjamin Ashby, Beck’s on-off boyfriend. He also kills Peach Salinger, her best friend who figures out Joe is onto something.  And when Beck finds out what Joe did, Joe ends up killing her as well.

In the Second Season, we see Joe move to Los Angeles when deja vu happens, and he meets a chef, Love Quinn. He does the same thing all over again, to ensure that they end up together. However, this time there is a catch as Joe meets his match in Love. In the end, it is revealed that Love is the one who kills Delilah, and in the end, reveals that she is pregnant with his baby.

Less than three weeks after the conclusion of Season 2, Netflix had confirmed a third season, when they ordered a 10-episode third season. Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti are returning as executive producers, and actors Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti will also return to reprise their roles. The production is currently going on in California

As already confirmed, Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg/ Will Bettelheim and Victoria Pedretti as Love Quinn will be back for the third season. Also, some new cast announcements have been named like Shalita Grant as Merry, who has been described as ‘Mom-influencer’ who appears down to earth, but is actually a mean girl who only pretends to welcome Love into her social circle.” Another Cast member that has been announced is Travis VanWinkle, whose gist goes something like this “will play the wealthy Cary, who invites Joe into his inner circle.” Also Scott Speedman will play Matthew, who in Netflix’s words “a successful CEO, husband, and uncommunicative father, He’s reserved, at times mysterious, and has a tendency to be withdrawn, all of which masks a deep well of emotion underneath.”

You Season 3 Release Date

As of right now, we only know that the show would be released in 2021. We are going to predict that somewhere around mid-2021, the show should be available to us.
