2gether the Series is a Thai drama series that left us feeling a lot of emotions, and it hit us on a different level, especially since it premiered during the lockdown period. The show is an adaptation of a Thai novel that goes by the same title written by JittiRain. The show’s protagonist duo has also shot to fame after the series received a warm welcome, first from the Thai audience and then the international one. It would be an understatement to say that we’ve not had enough of it and want more. We’re ready to shed as many happy tears as may be required. All we ask for is the return of 2gether the Series Season 2.
The show falls into the category of BL (Boys’ Love) dramas and expands the LGBT+ representation in mainstream media. Surely, it follows an overused trope of fake friendships turning into real, but that in itself normalizes the narrative technique employed by this genre instead of its romanticization. More importantly, the first season grants the characters a happy ending, which definitely comes as a win-win situation. The show may not be a 10/10 portrayal. Still, it does its job of melting our hearts.

2gether the Series Season 2 Announcement & Release Date
The first season aired GMM 25 and Line TV on 21 February 2020 and went on for 13 episodes till 15 May 2020. Not many fans are aware that the initial season was followed by 5 special episodes that work as a sequel to the show. The sequel was titled as Still 2gether and came out on 14 August 2020. As far as a proper long-running Season 2 is concerned, nothing of the sort has been announced by the production house GMMTV. The actors leading the plot have expressed their desire to come back for another round just like the fans have been asking them to, but for now, nothing has been confirmed. Since the special sequel aired in August, we can say that it’s still quite early for a follow-up season to be announced. As soon as we hear anything, you’ll be the first recipient of this news.

To stop being chased by a persistent admirer, Tine decides to build up a fake relationship with Sarawat, the popular boy at his college. Tine has to go through lengths of hardships, like joining the music club to get Sarawat’s attention. Finally, the two start faking it till the time they start feeling it all for real.
