About Avatar 2
Much anticipated Avatar 2 will again hit a delay. Though the movie is at its end of filming, it won’t hit theatres any time soon. Avatar came to theatres in 2009 and mesmerized everyone. The sequel has seen quite a delay due to many problems during production. In June 2020, it saw again a delay due to the coronavirus pandemic. James Cameron is confident that his sequel will be released in December 2022. Let’s hope there won’t be any more delays. It is even predicted that there is going to be Avatar 5.
Avatar 2 Release Date:
Earlier the sequel was to be released in December 2021. Due to the global pandemic, there was a delay and now the sequel will be released on December 22, 2022. There was a delay in the production of live-action filming which was going on in New Zealand as well as Virtual production in Los Angeles.

The production began again in June in New Zealand, we hope there aren’t any further delays. So, we can enjoy Avatar 2 in December 2022. In September 2020, James Cameron revealed that they have 100% completed the sequel. That means the shooting has been done and still the post-production is remaining.
The Storyline:
The much-awaited sequel is going to deal with themes like familial and imprisonment. Sequel movies are going to be stand-alone. So, no worries if you haven’t seen Avatar. It will be set several years after the Avatar takes place. So, Neytiri will be the high priestess and Sully will be the chieftain. But the events will more be focused on their children. They will go underwater beyond the forests of Pandora.
