Black Mirror is a British anthology televised series based on dystopian science fiction and black comedy, created by Charlie Brooker. This psychological thriller premiered for two seasons on Channel 4 from December 2011 to February 2013, later on, purchased by Netflix in 2015, it presents different stories and characters for each segment; and was inspired by The Twilight Zone, an older anthology series. Now the question arises will we have Black Mirror Season 6?
Black Mirror Season 6 Release Date
As of now, there is no word whether there will be Black Mirror Season 6 or not. Though we can conclude on our own that the less than optimal circumstances right now, considering the pandemic, productions are at a halt.
When will the new season of this haunting series make its way to fans is a mystery. Charlie Brooker, the series creator, said in an interview that the stories about society falling right now would not be appropriate to create as the world is already struggling. Safe to assume there will be some time before any news about the series has been renewed reach us.

The Plot
Taking a look at the dark side of technological advancement and internet misuse and focusing on paranoia and stress caused as a reaction to them, the black mirror embodies humanity’s worst side. This dark sci-fi Netflix series offers nerve wreaking tales in heaps, it gives the audience a chilling experience of what the future could consist of, making them question what the social media and internet could do.
All in all, it showcases a modern society and the worst consequences of new technologies which can be used to spy and even kill as we see in these episodes that are set shortly or alternative history.
