Deadman Wonderland Season 2 is a Japanese anime adaptation of the manga series written by Jinsei Kataoka and illustrated by Kazuma Kondou. The first 21 chapters of the manga have been represented via the anime that began airing from April 2011 and was followed by an OVA special in October. Almost a decade later, the fans of the show are still waiting for Season 2 and have been voicing their concern on Twitter consistently.
*Trigger Warning* The series was one of the many names like Death Note, Attack on Titan, etc. that were banned by China due to their graphic content that seems to encourage violence, pornography, etc. The visuals of the anime tend to be closer to what one can label as “horror” and can jumpscare people who are triggered by such content.
Deadman Wonderland Season 2 Official Announcement
The renewal of Season 2 seems to be on the verge of impossibility. Manglobe Inc., the company responsible for the production of the series ran into bankruptcy with a debt of millions of dollars. Fans are trending a decade-old series on Twitter but aren’t enough to bring back the show for another season. Let’s just say the series is on an extended hiatus because we’re well aware of how things seem to swing back in the world of anime.
Deadman Wonderland Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 hasn’t been confirmed yet so
no release date has been scheduled for a new season. Netflix has helped rebirth the fanbase for the 2011 release. The audience has taken to their Twitter handles to ask for more but to their dismay, these wishes haven’t been granted yet. The only way the show can be picked up for a sequel is by shifting it to another production studio. We’ll notify you as soon as there is any shift in the current situation. The Storyline
Deadman Wonderland is the name of the private prison that incarcerates Ganta Igarashi as he is falsely framed for committing a crime that involved the murder of all his classmates. A new and unexpected twist awaits Ganta at the prison that is unlike any other. What started out as his fight to prove his innocence soon turns into a survival game.
