The Spanish thriller teen drama series created by Carlos Monte and Dario Madrona first debuted on 5th October 2018 on Netflix was a hit ever since its premiere and so it continued for 3 seasons straight. Who knew the enrollment of three working-class students in an exclusive private school could give birth to scandalous events? From the murder of Marina to finding out who killed Polo, we have witnessed several scandals, drama, introspection, growth with new faces and old, and now with the news of Elite Season 4 being worked on and released soon we just can’t help but be indulged and excited! Here’s everything we know about the upcoming release.
Release Date of Elite Season 4
Even before fans finished watching season 3 of the show, they were already hooked on for the fourth installment and have been looking forward to its release eagerly ever since. Netflix on 22nd May 2020 announced the renewal of Elite Season 4 on Twitter with a video.

Although it has been officially confirmed that the fourth season is in the making, the official release date has still not been discussed. For now, it’s only hard to predict its timing of future release given the global crisis that all of us are facing. But a wild guess would be in the mid of 2021. Before this, it is known that several cast members that were in Season 3 will not be appearing in the next season.
It follows the story of three working-class background students who receive a scholarship to attend an exclusive private school. With differences at hand, the stumbly dynamics end up causing clashes among the students that lead to many scandalous events to take place. When love, sexuality, differences in wealth, and other such factors are being explored in nuanced ways, the birth of mysteries isn’t as unforeseen.
The flashbacks and flash-forwards have kept us engaged and anticipated with portrayals of the character’s personal lives and perspective of how they witnessed the event, in midst of all of it we tend to forget that one of them is the culprit. With the trials and tribulations being masked so well in the entire series, it’s no surprise that your deductions of who the culprit turns out are just a delusion by the time it’s the last episode.
Who can we expect in Season 4?
Netflix made an official announcement on Twitter that Elite Season 4 will be welcoming new faces in the cast list. This list includes Manu Rios, Carla Diaz, Matina Cariddi, and Pol Granch. In season 3 the two new faces that were introduced previously, Diego Martin and Andres Velencoso will still be with the elite gang.
With that being said, in the wake of the new casting, some of our original cast favorites won’t be returning in Elite Season 4 and we are all in mourning. Mina El Hammani (Nadia), Ester Exposito (Carla), Danna Paola (Lu), Alravo Rico (Valerio) have officially left the show but we really do hope that they appear in cameos. Gratefully, the original cast that we would get to see again are Itzan Escamilla (Samu), Miguel Bernardeau (Guzmán), Arón Piper (Ander), Omar Shana (Omar), Claudia Salas (Rebeca), and Georgina Amorós (Cayetana).
Elite series is available on Netflix so those who want to watch it can check it out.
