According to an old proverb, there are as many loves as there are stars in the sky. Kai is living proof of this saying. He is successful among girls but Riko pushes him to question what he believes about the feminine world. He questions his prejudices about women.
Kai Ichinose is an extremely popular boy among his peers. He falls in love with a young woman, Riko Takanashi, whom he has known since he was a child. Riko rejects him in every way and Kai finds himself awkward and uncertain in situations revolving around him and her. His grasp of love begins to fade eventually. Riko is famous for her tomboy attitude and does not appreciate Kais’s often frivolous behavior.
Originally titled in English as Hatsu Haru – Spring of my First Love, volume 13 deals with Kai wanting to change his relationship with Riko. He uses his salary to plan an overnight trip but he is deeply embarrassed and feels that he cannot invite her. The question is will the two lovers be able to leave?
Riko hints to Kai that there is something they need to talk about, possibly some issues in their relationship. Just when their story was about to take off, numerous obstacles threaten to come in their way. Will they be able to deal with them or will these secrets threaten their relationship?
