The Plot
Just Between Lovers is not just a love story, this drama brings together two people who were fated for each other for no specific reason. Lee Kang doo and Ha Moon soo, both emotionally scarred from their pasts and having lost their loved ones in accidents, are lead to each other.
Lee Kang doo lost his father in an accident which also causes a leg injury for him. Being an aspiring soccer player, his career is put on hold for her at least three years. This leads to him wasting his time and life in the streets and getting into fights. Ha Moon soo becomes the change he needed to get his life on track.
Ha, Moon-so lost her sister to an accident while she was saved which makes her hide her pain and feeling guilty for surviving. She works at an architecture firm, pretending to be fine and working hard. She finally unburdens all her pain to Kang doo. This leads to a romantic relationship as old wounds heal and a sad yet beautiful story evolves.
We learn and grow with these characters. Even in midst of tragedy, life goes on. Trauma and healing go hand in hand. People struggling from such pain need others to show them that they are not alone. Having somebody by your side makes all the difference and can be a beacon of hope.
