West Stockholm Fire Chief DEAD while Responding to House Fire in St. Lawrence Country, New York

West Stockholm, New York: While responding to a House Fire Call, a fire chief from West Stockholm in St. Lawrence Country collapsed and passed away at the scene.

The fire chief was identified as Robert White and was at the scene of a house fire at 414 Route 11B in the town of Potsdam on Thursday, June Wood from the county coroner’s office informed.

As soon White collapsed he was immediately rushed to the nearby Canton-Potsdam Hospital where he was declared dead.

White’s cause of death is not revealed to the public.

There were no reported injuries or casualties at the house fire as the woman, Mary Haught who lived there with her two children weren’t home at that time.

Fire authorities have not revealed the cause that started the fire.
