The anime Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou or Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou is based on the visual novel series of the same name created by a Japanese writer who goes by the PenNaem “Ryukishi07”. The murder mystery series has already had two seasons before. This time its reboot is being released in October 2020 by Passione after being delayed for a long period (originally scheduled for a July release). The series has finally graced us and Higurashi Episode 4 is close at hand so let’s dig into all that we know about it.

Higurashi Episode 4 Announcement & Release Date
The last episode of Higurashi i.e. the third one titled “Demon Deception Chapter – Part 3” aired on 15 October 2020. Considering the weekly pattern followed by the show for the release of a new episode, the next or the fourth episode will be released on 22 October 2020, Thursday. The anime licensed by Funimation will complete its course after a run of 24 episodes.

Higurashi Episode 4 Storyline
Moving to a new place and settling there can be a nightmare of a job. Keiichi Maebara is experiencing something similar after shifting to Hinamizawa Village, an otherwise peaceful place. The situation at his new school on the other hand has been very welcoming since he didn’t encounter any trouble while making new friends. However, his intuition regarding this remote village is constantly ticking off and filling him with a sense of trepidation.
