XX is a Korean web series about the story of a woman who works at the speakeasy bar XX. It first premiered on 24th January and concluded on 21st February 2020 on MBC TV. Created by Ahn Joon-Shik and directed by Kim Joon-Mo, the web series stars Ahn Hee-Yeon, Hwang Seung-Eon, Bae In-Hyuk, and Lee Jung-Won. This bold, cutting edge show revolves around a little mysterious bar and stories and dynamics of the characters that you will unravel as the show progresses. Release Date of XX Season 2
There is no official statement for the renewal of season 2. This does not necessarily negate the possibility of another season being produced. As of now the 10 episodes we got on the VLive and 5 on MBC TV. Season 1 ended with a cliff-hanger so there are chances that the show might come back.
The Storyline
Yoon Nana is the best bartender in the industry and works at speakeasy bar XX. She is the head bartender and takes pride in the work she does. Solving the relationship problems that other customers have, she tries to overcome her own wounds from the past.
Saving up money in the hopes to buy the XX bar, a new owner of XX comes in who happens to be Yoon Nana’s best friend from 5 years ago. But the dynamics between the two friends is not as good as it used to be because of a particular event taking place. Lee Roo-Mi, the best friend tries to mend the broken relationship, and the story continues.

not me finishing #xxkdrama within a day 😳 but i honestly wasn’t expecting it to be so good ,, like the plot was engaging, the characters were really well developed, and it doesn’t drag on bc it’s only 5 episodes total .. would totally recommend to anyone who loves rom + revenge
